Several books have pop out elements and different binding techniques are demonstrated.

This pack of 8 dpfs will be despatched by email. The basic technique of paper weaving is explained with ideas on how to stretch older children. Most projects use textiles. Children can learn finger weaving and how to weave on round and rectangular looms. They can make a traditional Mexican weaving, a native American dreamcatcher, a decorative fish and turn a tin into an attractive pencil holder. All projects use found or everyday materials. Each pdf contains a list of resources needed, various timings, step by step instructions and photographs.

Weaving teaches about texture and pattern, it helps develop co-ordination and sequencing skills, concentration and application.

Paper
This set of 7 pdfs will be despatched by email. The basic technique of paper making is fully explained along with ideas for use in the classroom. There are 2 types of applique cards for younger and older children, a picture incorporating autumn leaves, a paper gift bag to make and 2 ideas for raised cards - demonstrating how you can add layers of paper pulp.
The activities are aimed at the 5-11 age range but children as young as 3 can enjoy the experience of making paper and a few of the activities in the pack such as the autumn leaf picture are suitable.
Please not that you will need to purchase a mold and deckle from an art shop in order to make paper.
