The Golden Time web site started in late 2006 as an idea to create activities that were practical and fun for children from the age of 2 to 11. It was named Golden Time as many schools were adopting the idea that, at the end of a busy week, they would provide activities that were rewards for good work and behaviour but also had an educational benefit. We do now provide much more than just that Friday afternoon 'reward' activity.

Activities published on this site are tried and tested to ensure timings, resource lists etc are as accurate as possible. Golden Time is staffed by experienced UK trained and based teachers in the primary sector, with over 40 years of classroom experience.

We hope you enjoy the activities that we put on here and come back regularly to search out more, as we are regularly expanding our range.

Golden Time, the behaviour management strategy, was developed a few years ago as a key part of Jenny Mosley's Whole School Quality Circle Time model.

Our Golden Time web site, however, concentrates on providing activities for schools for all the curriculum areas and for any time use and therefore is not linked directly with Jenny Mosley's strategy.
